About Kate Ashton - MA (Couns.), M Philosophy, BA Hons, MBACP
- I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor offering short and long-term counselling based in Shrewsbury near the A5 and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
- I have over a decade of experience in being alongside people during times of change and crisis.
- I am a registered member with the national professional body, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) – Reg Number 375456.
- I work in accordance with the BACP’s ethical guidelines and professional processes. As required for practicing counsellors/psychotherapists, I attend supervision regularly.
- Together we create an environment that is safe, where you can explore the realities of what is happening for you.
- As I accompany you in an empathic and unconditionally accepting way, we learn how we can offer compassion to you and to trust that you know what is hurting.
- As we do this together ~ then personal growth, change and healing become possible.
